Najin and Fatu are the last two northern white rhinos on Earth. The mother and daughter are both infertile and live under constant surveillance at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya.

In a photo story, we visit the Olpejeta Conservancy in Isiolo County, which is home to the last two northern white rhinos on earth. The story captures the beautiful yet sad mornings at the Conservancy and the struggle to save these majestic animals from extinction.

The adventure begins in Nanyuki, where the I spent the night before heading out to Olpejeta at dawn. The shoot was important not only for the images but also for the message it conveyed. The rhinos are symbols of the fragility and resilience of nature, and every moment counts in their struggle for survival.

In the early morning light, the rhinos grazed on the fields, accompanied by their dedicated caretakers. I captured the interplay of light and shadow, the delicate balance of life in the wild, and the profound bond between the rhinos and their human guardians.

Each photograph in the collection tells a story of hope, struggle, and the enduring spirit of nature's majestic creatures.
